The greatest injustices in the entire world is that God’s LOVE which heals and restores has been kept from the world by we who call ourselves Christian. And that people live in darkness as a result of our failures. The injustice has been against God and against His creation.
We can’t remedy the injustice. It’s been festering too long. We can only ‘bandage’ it. The ages have passed. The goodness was left off. The disease is widespread. For now…each individual, if he or she is truly Christian, will have the compassion to do whatever is in their power to serve and help both those closest to them and those afar…by way of giving respect, by giving material helpby giving friendship, and by giving genuine fellowship….all in the name of the Father and by His power. At the Father’s return, He will heal the wounds of the innocent…and wipe away their tears. They will never know lack again.
Those in the greatest need are those who are dead while they live. They fill their lives with bounty but they are empty inside. They are called ’successful’ but they are failures. They are respected by man but God does not know them.
Those with the greatest power are the ’small’ unremarkable ones. The ‘messenger’ type sent to the highways and hedges where the inhabitants wait in poverty for the invitation to the King’s Banquet. The ‘weak’ in the eyes of man are the most powerful because they affect spiritual Life and Death. These insignificant ones, led by the Father, minister to needs…large and small. They do it quietly. They want no praise or thank yous. They are servants who notice when people ‘hurt.’ They don’t tear down….they lift up, they help, they encourage, they make peace… bring joy, and they give HOPE. As a small lump of leaven…the hope spreads in the hearts of the hopeless.
The truly powerful are the children of God. Man’s power is superficial and finite. Man’s power can give a drink of water. But Faith goes to the source of eternal waters.
The cultural structures that are most oppressive and corrupt is the established, false, apostate, Church like that of the Pharisees. They teach and demonstrate works in place of holiness. They judge others but justify their own sin. They oppress others by religious rhetoric such as ‘if you don’t work…you don’t eat,’ ‘just using the system,’ ‘too lazy to work,’ and they never bother to find out what is true. Their pride drives them to wear ‘political conservatism’ like a robe of righteousness. They openly judge and ‘cast aside’ those among their congregations and families who are of different political persuasions and pridefully call them ‘liberal’ and ‘vile.’ They bring division and desention …rather than peace.. because of their self-righteousness. They don’t ‘turn the other cheek.’ They accuse, protest, complain, compete and worst of all…their trust lies in man’s governement …and the works of their own hands..more than in God.
The most ‘POISONOUS’ ideas in our culture that might infect our minds is the ‘mammon’ view that man can survive without God.
We cultivate holiness in our spirt by way of fellowship with the Way, the Truth, and the Life…Christ…the Door. By permitting His presence in the person of the Holy Comforter to transform our minds into a mind like His. Thinking and acting with the mind of Christ is Holiness. WE are not redeemed by works. But when we abide in the vine, His fruit comes forth. By those very real fruits we know them. Those ‘fruits’ come forth only as the branches have sustanance from the Vine.
Hmmmm. Good Post. Different…neat! May God’s ‘will be done’ with you and yours.
